Usually night emission is not considered as a disease. When a boy reaches the adolescent age night emission begins as a sign of maturity.  It indicates that he has achieved reproductive ability. The frequency is more till the age of 25 to 30 yrs, after that frequency decreases. If the person engages in regular masturbation or sexual contacts night emission may not occur very frequently.
